Video

The times the are a changin my friends. I have a deep love for photography and always will but i have become infatuated with video lately. The idea to me that I am able to just document everything with sounds and motions has a large draw over the still image of photography to me right now. I by no means want to make a switch over for it but I am trying to become decent in both aspects of documentation.

I spend a lot of time on vimeo just browsing videos and watching what appeals to me. My favorite ones are just videos where its people just hanging out. Whether it be family or friends it just has such an affect to know that those memories and times will forever be able to be viewed by them and cherished. I cant wait till I am able to see videos me or my friends have made and think "Dang those where good times"

Video is still a very new thing to me but I am trying to make myself work on it so I can get better. This is just some footage I took while playing some polo with Dusty, Glenn and Andrew a lil while back. Its a fun video i think. Nice practice to work on other things and just keep editing.

Oh how I have missed the blog

It has been a long time since my last post as anyone could tell by scrolling down a bit. Im hoping to start making this more regular again now that I am back and shooting consistently.

A lot has changed since my last post in late June. I am now living in Boise going to school at Boise State and pursuing my teaching degree. I am still doing the newspaper stuff just now as photo editor at The Arbiter which has given me a lot of new things to shoot and do.

As of now life is good and Im loving all of it. Family is well as are friends and I just am excited to see where this road will continue to take me.

Glenn and I shot photos the other day of a Martin Luther King march that started at the school and went down to city hall. It was a fun shoot and a good way to start of the semester. This is just one photo from it that I liked.

Thanks for visiting and be on the look out for more posts.

Also follow my good friend Andrew as he goes through his experiences in South America over the next few months. Im sure there will be a lot of good things coming from him.
